 Any Occupational therapist or Physical therapist can claim to treat hand conditions, yet -

CHTs are heavily trained.


We must pass a stringent medical board exam with a pass rate of 50%.

Our advanced training involves thousands of hours of training.

As specialists, this means we are more qualified to treat a wide complexity of injuries from arthritis, carpal tunnel injury to more complex injuries, such as tendon lacerations, crush injuries, and complex finger fractures.


Not only do I have occupational therapy training, I also have Advance Practice Hand Therapy training in addition to the training required to pass the CHT medical exam.
